Jam Jar tealight holder
On the 18th till the 20th of September you can find me on the Handmade Fair in Hampton Court palace. The place to be if you like crafts as besides dozens of the best makers sharing their skills in workshops there is also a massive craft fair to browse.
You can find me in the up-cyle tent with Annie Sloan and Reloved magazine and I'll be showing the attendees of my workshop how you can turn some fabric scraps and an empty jam jar into a great yarn wrapped vase. I love making fabric yarn as it one of the best ways to use up your old off cuts and left over bits of cotton. If you want to soak up the creative atmosphere and browse the massive craft fair head over to my Instagram as I have 5 pair of entry tickets to give away!! All you need to do is repost my giveaway picture tag it with #hestershandmadehomeGiveaway and tag the person you want to take with you. The tickets are £15 each so you'll be saving yourself quite a bit of money you can then spend at the fair ;)
In anticipation to the fair I'll be showing you an other jar craft today, two different but very easy ways of turning an empty jar into a great tea light votive. One is done with washi tape and the other one with paint. Have a look at the video below to make your own!
I hope to see you all at the fair!! If you can't make it but would love to learn how to make your own yarn wrapped vase I will post a tutorial on the blog after the fair. So stay tuned!!
