Handwritten jar labels

Organise your kitchen with glass jars and handwritten labels, tutorial by Hester's Handmade Home

I love open shelving in a kitchen but the downside is you need to keep them nice and neat for a stylish looking kitchen. I have a simple trick for that though.

I use glass jars for all my everyday essentials, my rice, pasta, flour, oats and sugar are all packed away neatly in Weck, Mason and Kilner jars. I especially like the jars with a swing top as they are just so easy to use. To keep track of whats inside I use a oil based Sharpie, you can use some nice hand lettering to show whats inside the jar and when the jar is empty you simple scrub it off with some water and a sponge.
