Wardrobe divider
Can you believe how nice the weather was last weekend? Loved the sunshine and the warmth! Whenever summer first makes his appearance I get itchy to organise my wardrobe. Out with the big jumpers and dark colours and in with the t-shirts and dresses. I have a lovely Ikea wardrobe but the shelves are very tall, perfect for bulky items but my stack of t-shirts and vests keeps tumbling over. Time to come up with a organising solution so I made these dividers out of a piece of leftover furniture board.
Look how neat (well neat form me) those T-shirts are now!
If you don't have any timber lying around you can also use a very thick cardboard. I think I might make a couple more so I can organise my dresses and shorts as well! You can go completely organising crazy and make storage dividers for your bookcase, kitchen cupboards and your garage storage. Have a look at the video and the end of this post to see how easy it is to make your own. All you need is a spare half hour and 2 pieces of timber, one the width x depth of your shelve space and one piece of timber the height x depth of the space. You also need a ruler, pencil and a saw.
Have fun getting organised!! I'll be back next week, see you then xx Hester
