Tattooed jars DIY

Do you sometimes have ideas in your head of a craft project you think would look amazing but you can't find the right materials? Well that was what I had with my tattooed jar idea. I love temporary tattoo's and thought they would look amazing on a glass jar but I could never find the right images to transfer onto an empty jar, until I found Tattify!

How great do the Douwe Egberts jars look now!! I think I'm going to order more tattoo's and decorate every glass surface in my home. Over sized flowers would look great on a glass jar too, especially very kitsch looking roses or tropical blooms.

You don't have to limit yourself in using these containers just for food storage they would look great as a pen holder, vase or tea light holder as well. Or why not fill them with toiletries like cotton buds and pads? Possibilities are endless! Just don't put them in the dishwasher, once decorated these jars are hand wash only!

The tattoo's I used are from Tattify, have a look at their website they have the best selection in contemporary designs. I especially love the paint smudges you can use in layering the tattoo's.

Just realised the bird looks a bit like he got squatted agains the window... ;) Oh well..
