Pom Pom Place mats

I've been talking a lot about Easter these last few weeks and showing you lots of Easter crafts: egg cozies, Easter cards, egg ornaments and an Easter wreath. This week its the last of the Easter crafts and I'm concentrating on setting the table for a marvelous Easter brunch.

How cute are these pom pom place mats? They give just that little bit of extra that makes your table fun and spring like. I didn't go overly yellow/chick/bunny/Easter like with my fabric choice as I would like to use these place mats more then just 1 week out of the year. Instead I went for a bright, spring like pattern.

I chose a printed top and a plain white jeans back, jazzed up by pink and blue pom poms. You can make any combination you want, stripes will look nice or dark denim. 

So get your sewing machine out, gather some fabrics and sew these place mats! You will have a wonderfully set table for when your friends and family come round for Easter brunch.
