My house is filled with tulips and daffodils, the thick winter coats are packed away and the sun is trying to peep out from under the clouds. Spring is here!!
And with spring comes my favorite holiday off all, Easter. I talked about it before on the blog, I just love the long Easter brunches, Easter egg hunts, images of fluffy chicks everywhere and a house full of fresh flowers and bunny ornaments.
I have an Easter branch in my house as well but don't know if that's a common thing. Do you have one? I like to use a branch of a willow tree, preferably one of the curly variety but they are hard to come by here in the UK. A branch out of the garden might just have to do. This year I'm going to decorate the branch with these cute egg ornaments. They are simple and graphic and look amazing if you make them in a variety of colours like white and light yellow or blue.
And you know what? They are so simple to make! All you need is some left over bits of yarn, pva glue and a balloon. Have a look at the video tutorial below for the explaining how to make.
I would love to see your Easter branches! Send me a picture on my Instagram account, byhestergrams.
